DAY 1 – Arrival in Cairo for Egypt Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday
When you travel with us, you really have nothing at all to worry about because we have already taken care of every last detail. When you arrive at Cairo International Airport for the start of your Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday – Cairo, Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh, the tour manager that was assigned to you when you booked your tour will be there to meet you in person. They will give you a warm welcome, and then you will head out of the airport terminal to where one of our drivers will be waiting in a clean and modern air-conditioned vehicle.
Your tour manager and your driver will then take you to the 5-Star hotel where you will be staying for the night. On arrival at the hotel, you’ll be assisted with check-in and a pick-up time will be confirmed with you for the following day. Your tour manager will also discuss your tour itinerary with you, and answer any questions you might have. After that, the remainder of the day is yours to spend as you wish.

DAY 2 – Giza and Saqqara Pyramids Tour, then Transfer to Aswan for Cruise
Wake up and enjoy the sort of breakfast you would expect from a 5-Star hotel, and then shortly after you have finished, one of our tour representatives will meet you at the hotel; they will assist you with check-out, and then you will be driven in air-conditioned comfort to see some of the very best historical attractions this amazing city has to offer.
The first leg of today’s sightseeing tour will see you visiting Egypt’s most recognizable archeological attractions, the Great Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. While you are at this ancient necropolis, you will also visit the iconic Sphinx, and the fascinating Valley Temple that faces the Sphinx. You will now have visited the last remaining one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World.
After your tour at the pyramids, you will be taken to a reputable local restaurant for a nice lunch, and once you have finished eating, you will then be taken to see the amazing Sakkara necropolis which is home to several more ancient pyramids, including the very first pyramid ever built, Djoser’s Step-Pyramid.
By the time this tour ends, evening will be approaching, and you will then be driven to the main railway station in Cairo where you will be boarding an overnight sleeper train to Aswan. Enjoy dinner and a good night’s sleep in your compartment on the train.

DAY 3 – Cruise Embarkation in Aswan and Aswan Sightseeing
Wake up to a nice breakfast in your compartment on the train, and then shortly after you have eaten, the train will pull into Aswan Station where another one of our tour representatives will be standing by to meet you, and to escort you to the docking area where you will be boarding your beautiful 5-Star Nile River cruise ship for your unforgettable journey on the Nile.
Shortly after boarding and checking in, you will then enjoy your first good lunch on board the ship.
After lunch, you and a small group of our other clients will disembark together, and you’ll enjoy a guided tour in Aswan which will see you visiting three fantastic attractions: the Aswan High Dam, the ancient Temple of Philae, and the massive Unfinished Obelisk.
Finally, you will return to the cruise ship where you will be able to enjoy some free time before sitting down to a wonderful onboard dinner. Tonight you will be sleeping on the river at Aswan.

DAY 4 – Cruise to Esna with Excursions at Kom Ombo and Edfu
Day 4 of your Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday begins with an early morning departure from Aswan. Enjoy your breakfast on the river while sailing to Kom Ombo where you will be enjoying a truly memorable excursion.
During this excursion, you will be taken to see the Kom Ombo Temple of Sobek. This is essentially a twin-temple complex that was built and devoted to two different gods: Sobek the crocodile god and Haeroris the falcon-headed god. As with all our tours, you will have an English speaking tour guide with you and your small group to explain the history of this site, and to answer any questions you might have.
After your temple visit, you will head back to the ship, and then once everyone is back on board, another fine lunch will be served, and the ship will begin sailing to Edfu where you will be enjoying another fascinating excursion.
This time, you will be you will be taken to see Edfu’s Temple of Horus. This temple was buried beneath the sand for approximately 2,000 years, and it is because of this that it has been preserved so nicely. Not only is it the best-preserved temple of the Ancient World, but It is also one of the largest temples of the ancient world, and a trip to this site is a trip you probably won’t forget in a hurry. Building work at the temple began in 237 BC, and records indicate that it took 25 years to build.
After your excursion at Edfu, you will return to the ship, and it will cruise to Esna. Afternoon tea will be served along the way, with dinner be served in the evening after it has tied up at Esna. Tonight you will be sleeping on the Nile at Esna

DAY 5 – Cruise to Luxor with East and West Bank Tours
Today your cruise ship will make an early departure from Esna and you will be able to enjoy a lovely leisurely breakfast on the river while you cruise to Luxor. On arrival at Luxor, you and your small group will disembark together, and you will be taken for a tour of Luxor’s West Bank.
Your first visit today will be to Valley of the Kings, an ancient royal necropolis consisting of more than 60 tombs that were constructed for different pharaohs; some of their family members and some privileged nobles. This is also the site where Tutankhamen’s tomb was discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter.
Medinet Habu Temple will be your next stop, and it will probably be one of your favorite stops because it well and truly is a magnificent site. Here you will find more than 7,000 square meters of wall reliefs which have provided an incredible amount of insight with regard to ancient Egyptian history.
Your last stop for the day will be at the Colossi of Memnon, a name given to two towering stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.
After your tour ends, you will make your way back to the ship in time for another fine lunch, and then it will be time for your Luxor East Bank tour.
This time you will be visiting the beautiful Luxor Temple and the sprawling ancient Karnak Temple complex. With a truly unforgettable day of sightseeing behind you, you will once again make your way back to the ship in time for dinner.
This night of your Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday will be spent on the river at Luxor.

DAY 6 – Egypt Nile Cruises End and Flight to Sharm el Sheikh
Today, the next leg of your Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday begins, shortly after you have enjoyed your breakfast, you will be checking out and disembarking, and then you will be transferred to Luxor airport where you will board a flight to Sharm el Sheikh on the beautiful Red Sea coast.
When you arrive at the airport in Sharm, one of our tour representatives will once again be standing by to meet you, and then they will escort you to the 5-Star hotel where you will be staying during your time in Sharm.
NOTE: Currently most flights from Luxor to Sharm el Sheikh are indirect flights that fly via Cairo.

DAY 7, 8 and 9 – Leisure Time at Sharm with Optional Excursions
From the time you initially landed in Cairo for your 12-Day Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday, you have been taken to see many amazing historical sites. There are also some more which you can visit in and around Sharm El Sheikh, but these are all optional tours, and are therefore not included in the price of this tour package.
Optional tours include visiting places such as the beautiful Ras Mohammed National Park; the Colored Canyon, and the hilltop Monastery of St. Catherine. These have been designated as optional tours simply because many people prefer to spend their time in Sharm relaxing and soaking up the sun, either at the beach, or at their hotels.
There are also lots of fun and popular activities one can enjoy, but whatever you choose to do, you are certain to enjoy your time on the coast.

DAY 10 – Flight from Sharm to Cairo and Leisure Time
Wake up to another fine 5-Star hotel breakfast, and then at the appropriate time, our tour representative will meet you at your hotel and assist you with check-out, and then they will escort you to the airport in time for your flight to Cairo.
On arrival in Cairo, you will once again be met and escorted to the 5-Star hotel where you will be spending the next two nights of your Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday. Once you have checked in, a pick-up time will be confirmed for the following day’s tour, and then you will have the rest of the day to yourself to enjoy as you wish.

DAY 11 – Cairo Sightseeing Tour
The last full day of your Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday has arrived, and it is certainly going to be a very enjoy and fascinating one. Enjoy another excellent breakfast, and then at the confirmed time, you will be met at the hotel, and your private guided tour in Cairo will begin.
Today, your first stop will be at the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, also known as the Egyptian Museum. This museum really is unlike any museum you have seen before, with more than 120,000 artifacts on display at any given time.
In addition to all the regular artifacts, the museum is also home to two very unique and fascinating rooms: the Treasures Room and the Mummies Room. The Treasures Room has been reserved for displaying virtually all of the artifacts and treasures which were recovered from the tomb of King Tutankhamen when it was discovered completely sealed and intact in the early 20th century.
Our 12-Day Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday includes entry to the Treasures Room at the museum, but not to the Mummies Room. Inside the Mummies Room, visitors can view real mummies which are housed in special climate-controlled displays that help to prevent further deterioration. Tickets for the Mummies Room can be purchased in person at the museum.
After the museum, you will be taken taken for lunch at a good restaurant, and then you will visit the colorful and frenetic Khan el Khalili Bazaar where vendors have been plying their wares ever since the 14th century.
Next, you will visit Cairo Citadel and the spectacular Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. This mosque is of extreme religious significance, but despite this, it is still open to visitors, including non-Muslims.
Following your visit to the mosque, you will then enjoy a visit to two more fascinating attractions: the Hanging Church of Cairo and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Finally, you will be driven back to your hotel where you can enjoy a well-deserved rest.

DAY 12 – Egypt Nile River Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holidays End, Final Departure
Wake up to another wonderful breakfast at your hotel, and then you will have some more time for relaxing and for getting ready for your flight. At the time that was confirmed with you, our tour representative will meet you at the hotel, and then you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight back home.
Sadly, your magnificent Nile Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh Holiday package has now come to an end, and it will soon be time for you to board your flight back home. You vacation may have come to an end, but you will be leaving Egypt with memories that will live with you forever.
