During this excursion, your first stop will be at the ancient Temple of Kalabsha which was built to honor Mandulis, a Lower Nubian sun god. Records show that this temple was built in 30 BC, and while the temple was never 100% completed, it is seen by many as being one of the best examples of early Egyptian architecture. It is also home to many inscriptions and reliefs.
After Kalabsha, you will get a chance to explore the nearby rock-cut Temple of Beit el-Wali which was built by Pharaoh Ramses II, who dedicated it to four different deities. As with the Temple of Kalabsha, Beit el-Wali has a wealth of history depicted on its walls.
Both of these temples were originally located about 50km south of Aswan, but they were moved to higher ground in order to stop them from disappearing beneath the rising water of Lake Nasser following the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
After you have seen all there is to see at these two sites, everyone will return to the MS Nubian. Once everyone is back on board, lunch will be served, and the vessel will begin cruising to Wadi El Sebou. Today you have the afternoon to yourself to enjoy as you wish, and then in the evening, another fine dinner will be served by the crew in the ship’s tastefully decorated dining area. Spend tonight in the comfort of your cabin on the water in Wadi El Sebou.

In later years, the Roman built a wall around it, and it served as a temple fort. It was later also used as a Christian place of worship.
Wadi El Seboua temples as well as the Temple of Dakka were completely dismantled and then rebuilt at the current location. Again, this was to save them from flooding as a result of the Aswan High Dam project.
